When you want an application developed, you may be faced with jargon that seems too complicated to understand. however it describes a concept that has been arrived at after years of experience. Model view controller is also one such concept. in software there are three main elements that allow the user to use the software. The user interface or what is seen on the screen of the device ( Computer or mobile or any other device) The Application logic that performs the calculations which make the life of the user easier. and third is storage of this processed or processible information in a model view controller the same are divided into classes or files that contain on of the above three functionality. Cake PHP is a great framework that takes it a step further by allowing you to use a stable framework just like dotnet classes are used within your code, and allows the developer to create the application in a seperate space. this allows the application to be upgraded without having to touch the core. this means that if the core code of cake changes and assuming that there are no api that has changed then you can upgrade the installation with the new framework by just replacing the folders containing the core code. What does this mean to you as a website owner ? easy maintainance (Read Cheaper upgrades) since this involves lesser time and effort on the part of the developer. When you choose to get your website or web application developed remember that the baby has the potential to grow exponentially , however most of the applications do not grow too much, it always pays to have foresight. Keep a tight set of features and focus on what you want the user to be able to do, this will help you in developing a mean and lean website that not only generates a good amount of goodwill but is also able to get noticed in the general melee of websites. A Clean and simple look will always be appreciated if the user is able to accomplish what he set out to do in lesser steps.
